Sweetest Day is coming up! What is Sweetest Day? It is a Holiday to for people to do something "Sweet" for someone. So the FFA sells carnations during lunches starting next week on Tuesday through the October 18th then the flowers will be delivered during 1st & 10th hour classes on Friday, October 19th.


It's almost the Senior Night for the Harrison Raider's Football Team and it is also the same night as the Nelson's BBQ Chicken & Pit-Tatoes FFA Fundraiser before the football game on October 12th! Be sure to pre-order your chicken and pit-tatoes before the game! See an FFA Member or just get some game day! Supply is limited! You can always get a sample fo the Famous Pit-Tatoes!


Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, Inc. Chi Phi Omega Chapter is offering a session on Learning to navigate through the college Admission Process October 20, 2018, 1pm to 2:30 pm. Hear from college admissions specialist, current student and consultant about what colleges and universities are looking for in an applicant. Seniors—this is your week! College GO! is all about helping you get where you want to go with your future. But you can't go if you don't apply. So, go to LearnMoreIndiana.org/college to find links to Indiana colleges, and commit to applying to at least one college today.


College Goal Sunday http://www.collegegoalsunday.org/ will be held at 2pm on two dates, Sunday October 28, 2018, and on Sunday February 24, 2019. Locally, these will be held at Ivy-Tech Community College in Lafayette. Students/families will be able to file their FAFSA at the College Goal Sunday events. Staff from both Purdue and Ivy-Tech will be on hand to assist.


Reminder: Staff from Purdue's Division of Financial Aid and Ivy-Tech Lafayette's Financial Aid office will offer 2019-20 FAFSA information sessions in Ivy-Tech's, Ivy Hall auditorium on Tuesday October 23, 2018 and on Wednesday February 6, 2019. These are general information sessions only and we will not be filing the FAFSA on those evenings. Everyone is invited.
