The science department would like to use this opportunity to share about one of the many great teachers that we have in our department. Beth Ann Straley has been teaching at Harrison for 29 years. She is one of the Earth Science teachers and has dutifully been teaching this subject for her whole career. Most of the students that she has in class are ones that do not have a strong passion for science, but she does a great job of connecting with her students and making them feel cared about in her classroom. She is an avid equestrian and when she is not at school she most likely will be found spending time with her horse Jay Jay.
Please join the science department and the school in thanking Ms. Straley for her passion and dedication to Earth and Space science and to the school.
