My name is Meagan Carrero and I am a Special Education teacher at HHS. This is my first year teaching and I will be working through a transition to teaching program as I go through this first year. My previous experience is working at a center for children with autism implementing ABA therapy. I graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am working on a Master’s degree from Purdue Global in Educational Psychology. I have two boys who are 8 and 11 and are currently at Hershey and East Tipp, my nephew who is a junior here at Harrison also lives with us, and I have two bonus children who live on their own now but luckily still in Lafayette so we are able to see them often. In my free time I train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, it is something we all do together as a family and I have been training for almost six years now! I also enjoy spending as much time as possible outside, hiking, reading, lifting weights, doing yoga, and spending time with my family.
