Graduates from Harrison High School, McCutcheon High School and Tippecanoe Online Academy (TOA) will soon walk to “Pomp and Circumstance,” turn their tassels and step into a new chapter in their lives.

Commencement exercises for Harrison High School will take place at 1 pm Sunday, June 7, followed by McCutcheon High School’s ceremony at 4 pm. Both events will be held at Elliott Hall of Music on the campus of Purdue University. Tippecanoe Online Academy will host its ceremony at 5 pm May 28 at the Elston Administration Center.

Harrison High School will celebrate 485 graduates. The school awarded 172 Academic Honors diplomas, 23 Distinguished Honors diplomas and 23 Technical Honors diplomas. Eleven students have committed to military service, and students completed 483 Advanced Placement tests.

“As I look at the Class of 2026, I feel tremendous pride and optimism,” Harrison High School Principal Cory Marshall says. “This group has shown resilience, compassion and determination throughout the past four years. They have excelled in academics, athletics and service to others while supporting one another through every challenge. I am confident they will continue to make a positive impact as they move into the next chapter of their lives.”

This year, McCutcheon High School celebrates just over 400 graduating seniors. The school awarded 93 Academic Honors diplomas, 43 Distinguished Honors diplomas and 21 Technical Honors diplomas. Students completed 250 Advanced Placement tests.

“Hard-working students with great attitudes truly define this class,” McCutcheon High School Principal Gloria Grigsby says. “They demonstrated MHS pride every day and supported one another by attending performances, sporting events and other activities. They care deeply about their community, and I know they will be successful as they pursue their future endeavors.”

This year marks the second graduating class for Tippecanoe Online Academy. The May 28 ceremony at the Elston Administration Center will celebrate 34 graduates. Several students are also graduating with industry certifications earned through programs at the Greater Lafayette Career Academy, highlighting the flexibility of the online model and the opportunities students pursued beyond the traditional classroom setting.

“Tippecanoe Online Academy students have demonstrated tremendous dedication, independence and initiative throughout their high school experience,” says Dr. Devin Arms, principal of the Tippecanoe Online Academy. “Success in an online program requires students to take ownership of their learning, manage their time effectively and persevere through challenges. We are incredibly proud of this graduating class and excited to see the many different paths they will pursue after graduation.”
