TSC honors student art contest winner

The TSC Board of School Trustees recognized the winner of this year's student art contest at its May 12 meeting. Harrison High School junior Emilyn Worstell received a certificate and $200 for Best in Show. Her oil painting is framed and displayed at TSC Administrative Offices.
The Student Art Recognition program started in 1990 and rotates between elementary and secondary school submissions. A committee of art teachers and administrators judge the artwork that is submitted by art teachers from each school.
The 2021 art contest runners-up are McCutcheon High School sophomore Kaylee Rosenbarger and Lily O’Bryan, a junior at Harrison High School.
