It's HOMECOMING time! Go RAIDERS!
Come on out to the football game on Friday, September 22 to support the Raiders and grab a Crooked Stick BBQ Sandwich for $3.00 and some homemade baked goodies. All proceeds support the Harrison Costa Rica Trippers 2018.
Harrison Costa Rica Trippers 3rd LuLaRoe Fundraiser will be held on Sunday, September 24 from 2-4 pm in the Harrison Cafeteria. Ten different LuLaRoe consultants will be there with a wide variety of clothes for you to select from, try on, mix and match and purchase. $5.00 from each sale will go to the Costa Rica Trippers. Along with LuLaRoe, there will be baked goods and drinks for sale and a raffle of some amazing prizes. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Tryouts for the Bowling team are Monday, Sept. 18 and Tuesday, Sept. 19 at Landmark Lanes on Schuyler Avenue from 4:30-6pm.
On September 21st from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Purdue's MAGIC mentors will be hosting a two-hour kickoff event for Harrison's Girls Coding Club. During the session, students will learn about the club, computer science and technology careers, and work in small groups on a number of fun hands-on computing projects. Food will be served. The event will be held in room F213 (Mason).
Powder Puff game is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20th 2017 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm on the Football field. A $3 donation per person, $10 maximum per family is the cost of admission for this game. All proceeds will be donated to our annual Hoops for Hope Charity that takes place in February. Come to the game, have fun, and support a great cause!
The Homecoming Dance is scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd from 7:30 - 10:30 pm in the track gym. Dance dress is semi-formal please. Our theme this year is "Out of this World".
Homecoming tickets will be sold online this year. Please go to HHS website, select About us, then Online Store to buy. The tickets will be sold online beginning now through Thursday, September 21st. The physical tickets may be picked up in the cafeteria during all lunch periods the week of homecoming (Monday, September 18th - Friday, September 22nd). No tickets will be sold in the cafeteria. If you are taking a guest from another school, permission slips are available in the main office or can be downloaded when you purchase your tickets. These permission slips require a signature from your guest's principal so you need to plan ahead. If you pay for tickets and do not have this form, student council members are not allowed to give you your tickets. Once again, please plan ahead so you are not disappointed.
Voting for the King and Queen of Homecoming takes place on Wednesday, September 20th. A special activity period is scheduled and will be used to watch the Senior Court video produced by Mr. McConville and his video crew. Voting will be electronic and takes place during activity period after viewing the video. If you want to find out who wins, make sure you attend the Homecoming Football game on Friday, September 22nd at 7 pm. The King and Queen will be crowned during half time.

If you dress in theme on Friday, September 22nd, you will be entered in our annual homecoming raffle. Wear your class t-shirt or Raider wear that day so you can be entered to win!
Homecoming and Powder Puff T-Shirts will be handed out in the commons before school on Wednesday, September 20th. Don't forget to come pick up your shirt that morning before school.

College representatives attend Harrison High School throughout the fall semester. In a small group setting, our students are able to meet with them to learn about their admissions requirements and many of programs offered.
If you would like to attend any of these sessions, please sign up in the Student Services Office. Students, you must also ask the teacher whose class(s) you will miss for permission to attend and assignments prior attending. It is the student's responsibility to remember to attend the session.
